Welcome to Sarah 7E Fitness

I am a US Air Force Veteran and stay at home mother of 2 active girls.  I found fitness after the birth of my first daughter left me at my heaviest point yet.  To say I “let myself go” would be an understatement.  Almost a year after she was born I still had yet to lose any of the weight I had gained during my pregnancy.  I had no energy and how I viewed myself was starting to affect my marriage.  I was so uncomfortable in my own skin I did not want my husband to look at me, let alone touch me. I was at a point that I could only wear my maternity clothes and I was disgusted with what I saw when I looked in the mirror.

I finally decided it was time for a change.  I started P90X and have not looked back.  During those 90 days I took a closer look at my nutrition and focused on my workouts.  After awhile I started looking forward to my workouts every day.  Over the course of those 90 days I lost over 20 lbs and felt great.  I had my energy back and had fully regained my confidence.  I finally had energy to play with my daughter and was happy with how I felt and what I saw in the mirror.

By the time I got pregnant with my second daughter I had a much easier pregnancy, birth, and an easier time losing the weight.  The biggest struggle I now found was finding the me time to get in workouts.  It wasn’t until I had an “ah-ha” moment that I realized how important it was to make me time for my workouts.  After all, how can you pour from an empty cup?  What do I mean by that?  Well, when you don’t take the time to help yourself you are always running on empty and have nothing to give to everyone else.
